Jillian is a good friend of mine and we went to the same high school (PSHSWVC - Iloilo) together.
Steph is also a good friend of mine and we went to the same college (UA&P – Pasig) together.
Justine and Steph are best friends and they went to the same high school (Miriam – Katipunan) together.
I’m not sure how Justine and her boyfriend knew each other but let’s be happy for them.
Justine’s boyfriend is a blockmate of Jillian in Ateneo – Manila.
In a nutshell, Me -> Steph -> Justine -> Justine’s boyfriend -> Jillian. Small world!

Pumapalakpak na naman ang pekpek.
Because I have so much time in my hands I computed for the cost of turning my computer on for 30 whole days. You’ll be surprised with the results.
And the cost of turning on my laptop for 30 whole days is just PhP116.65, theoretically. The real price would be higher because resistance and other things that can cause power loss is not included.
0.72 kWh/W – watt to kilowatt-hour constant for an appliance turned on for 30 whole days
PhP 4.5007 – Meralco’s price per kilowatt-hour consumed as off January 2009.
36 W – EeePC 900 power consumption according to its product specification.

Arman: Payo ko sayo, yang pagmamahal mo sa puso mo bakit indi mo na lang ibuhos sa ibang tao? Malay mo yung matalinong gwapo, na maangas, na mayabang ay nasa tabi mo lang.
Shirley: Ah, parang nabingi ata ako dun ah.
A: Nabingi ka ba dun? Eh totoo naman eh. Pano kaya?
S: Panong ano?
Are my eyes deceiving me or did firefox just changed the default font. I just updated Ubuntu through the update manager and I’m pretty sure that the fonts changed. Is this with Firefox or Ubuntu? I really dont know…
I tried looking into News sites about anything about Firefox or Ubuntu changing fonts but I haven’t found any. I haven’t changed any of the settings in Firefox. Hmm.. Something’s fishy.
The menu above is the one I’m talking about.
To remove an item from the list just go to
/home/<username>/.local/share/applications
and delete the application you want to remove from the list.
Since my username is e, you will see /home/e /.local/share/applications. Not all of the default applications will be there but all your custom made applications will be. Just remove the ones that you are not using.

I was wondering why my friends were texting me about tikoy, century egg and Chinese New Year when it’s only January 25. As far as I can remember, Chinese New Year was always celebrated on February. So I went to Google.com to look for an answer.
When Google says it’s Chinese New Year tomorrow, it’s Chinese New Year tomorrow. There is no doubting it.
So, happy Chinese New Year to everyone. Eat lots of tikoy and century eggs so that the gods will bless you in the year to come. Let’s start the year right by praying for this lady who is having very bizarre disease which none of the doctors in Northern Ireland can diagnose. Let’s ask God to enlighten the doctors on the lady’s situation and for a fast recovery mentally, physically and financially. Her husband has put up a blog for updates on her condition.
I just prayed for her and I hope you do too. We all deserve a happy Chinese New Year.
